Your writing is always so generous and moving.

Keep sharing <3

The biggest transition in my life was away from the gender I'd been given at birth to embracing, living and sharing being nonbinary outwardly. But, despite what many people perhaps assume is the only transition, I also like to share how it's not the only way to transition in life... just like you've said. From single to in a relationship, to homeowners (renters), parenthood... so many ways. And maybe the saddest thing we can do is remain static...

However, everything you've offered here is on a level that I have yet to experience and I can't pretend to understand - hearing your honesty leaves me without words tbh <3

Thank you Stevie, I really appreciate your comments 🫶🏻

I agree, we have so many transitions during our lives, both big and small, and life can move so fast sometimes we don't pause to acknowledge them as often as we perhaps should.

I think we have both experienced some pretty big transitions, although different, and I too cannot pretend to understand your experience, but the fact we are both here and sharing our stories is a pretty big deal 💞

I do love your humour Julie 😉

As always thought provoking and beautifully written and raw.

My biggest transition without doubt was becoming a mother. Ive shared many a time with you my trials, tribulations and triumphs! Thank you for always listening and never judging .

Thanks Victoria 😘

Oh goodness yes, parenting is one of life's biggest transitions!! I'm always here for a parenting chat… rant… offload… all of it! It makes all the difference when you have someone who you can be brutally honest with about how you're truly feeling, things you're struggling with, and laugh about the momentous fails and mishaps along the way 😄 So thank you to you too x

The sense of limbo during any transition is really unnerving. That in between stage, I remember it well whilst recovering from one surgery & preparing for the next.

When you’re done with treatment, I’d highly recommend the where / what now course at Maggies Nottingham. It really helped me focus on what next.

Light & love.
